Bosnia and Herzegovina basketball players face Greece today, the biggest favorite in the group

(Patria) - The basketball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina plays its fourth match at the Eurobasket today against the selection of Greece, the first favorite of group C and the only team with a maximum score after three rounds. The match will be played from 2 PM, with a live broadcast on FTV, as well as on Arena Sport and Sport Klub channels.

The Greeks have so far defeated Italy, Cyprus, and Georgia, and their victory by 41 points against Georgia (94:53) was particularly impressive. The team is led by NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who scored 27 points in that game, while Konstantinos Miroglou averages 14.7 points, and Tyler Dorsey averages 12.7 points.

Our national team currently has a record of one win and two losses. After the opening triumph over Cyprus, losses to Spain and Italy followed, but the game against Italy provides reason for optimism because BiH was in a close match with the favored rival for a long time.

The mathematics for advancing to the round of 16 is complex and depends on the outcomes of other matches, but it is clear that victories in the last two rounds would surely take our team further. In case of a triumph against Greece, BiH would remain in contention before the decisive duel with Georgia.
