Radoičić's property in northern Kosovo confiscated

(Patria) - The Kosovo Agency for Administration of Seized or Confiscated Property today confiscated two properties in North Mitrovica and one in the municipality of Zubin Potok, linked to the attack by an armed group of Serbs on the Kosovo police in Banjska last year.

This was confirmed for Radio Slobodna Evropa by the Deputy Director of Police for the North region, Veton Eljšani, noting that the police only provided assistance to this agency, which operates within the Ministry of Justice.

- There was a court order to confiscate three properties: Milan Radoičić's villa, the "Grey" restaurant, and an apartment on the sixth floor above that restaurant - said Eljšani.

The villa is located on Lake Gazivode in the municipality of Zubin Potok in northern Kosovo, while the restaurant and apartment are located in North Mitrovica.

These three properties were first seized by the Kosovo prosecution in September last year.

Milan Radoičić, former vice-president of the Srpska Lista party, admitted that he organized and led the attack on the Kosovo police on September 24, when one police officer was killed, and three attackers were killed in the exchange of fire.

Kosovo accused Serbia of being behind the organization of this attack, which Belgrade denied.

Srpska Lista, the largest party of Serbs in Kosovo with the support of Belgrade, assessed that this confiscation of Milan Radoičić's property is "unlawful and unfounded", and that its goal is "escalation" and "expulsion of Serbs from Kosovo".

This is the first reaction from Srpska Lista to events related to Milan Radoičić since the attack in Banjska.
