Komšić in the BiH Presidency hosted a delegation from the "Dubai Basketball Club"

(Patria) - Member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić today hosted a delegation from the "Dubai Basketball Club" at the BiH Presidency building, who arrived in Sarajevo for the purpose of participating in the prestigious 17th "Mirza Delibašić" Memorial Tournament.

During the meeting, Member of the BiH Presidency Komšić emphasized the importance of the "Mirza Delibašić" international tournament, which preserves the memory of one of the greatest basketball players in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and successfully contributes to connecting athletes from all over the world and strengthening regional sports cooperation.

Furthermore, Member of the BiH Presidency Komšić welcomed the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Sarajevo basketball club "Bosna" and the "Dubai Basketball Club" today, which represents a significant step in building bridges between
countries through sport and shared values.

Club representatives, led by Club President Salem bin Dasmal and General
Manager Dejan Kamenjašević, thanked Member of the BiH Presidency Komšić for the warm
reception and expressed their excitement about participating in the tournament in Sarajevo, as well as their expectations for the upcoming challenges in the AdmiralBet ABA League. They expressed hope that future cooperation between our countries through sport will enable the exchange of experiences, expertise, and talents, and serve as an inspiration for younger generations of athletes.

At the end of the reception, representatives of the Basketball Club presented symbolic personalized
jerseys to all members of the BiH Presidency.

The meeting was also attended by the president of the Sarajevo basketball club "Bosna", Dubravko
Barbarić.
