(Patria) - Dean Klafurić is no longer the coach of Football Club (FC) Velež, confirmed at today's press conference by the president of the Mostar club, Senad Kevelj.
As he stated, Klafurić's agent informed Velež's officials that the Croatian expert no longer feels he could contribute to the further development of the club.
His assistants will also leave the team with him, reports Faktor.
For many, this is a big surprise, because Klafurić was supposed to attend today's press conference before the start of Velež's preparations.
The team will be led by Samir Merzić in the coming days.
Klafurić arrived on Velež's bench before the start of last season.
He led the team in a total of 32 official matches, and under his leadership Velež recorded 16 wins, seven losses, and nine draws.
