KK Bosna hosts Široki tonight in Skenderija

(Patria) - The basketball championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina is entering its final stages.

As part of the first semi-final match, KK Bosna Sarajevo hosts the team of Široki tonight at 7:00 PM in the small hall of KSC Skenderija (D1).

In the second semi-final today, Igokea and Borac will also play, while the return matches are scheduled for May 24.

Two matches will be played in the semi-finals, and in case both teams win one match each, the team with the better aggregate point difference will advance to the final.

After winning the ABA 2 league and the fantastic atmosphere in the packed "Mirza Delibašić" hall, the Students want to crown the season with another trophy.

They are not lacking motivation, and the support of the home crowd, which has been the sixth player on the court in previous matches, is an additional incentive.

The match was previewed by KK Bosna Sarajevo player and coach Jarrod West and Aleksandar Damjanović.

- We look forward to the challenge of playing against Široki. They are a quality team against whom we have played many times, so we know each other well.

We are aware of the importance of this match - we have the opportunity to reach the grand final. We are extremely pleased to play in front of our home fans again, and the motivation is high because we are fighting for another title - said West.

Coach Damjanović says that his players expect a demanding match against the team of Široki, whom they greatly respect.

- There are no easy matches at this stage of the competition - every detail can decide the winner. Our focus is maximum, the atmosphere in the team is good, and we are ready to give our best in front of our audience.

We have a clear goal - to advance to the final, and I believe that with our joint effort, we will achieve it - said Damjanović.
