(Patria) - Zrinjski managed to continue the race for the championship title from pole position with a goal in stoppage time at the end of the Mostar derby.
Spectators at the Rođeni stadium could not be satisfied in the first half. The nets were still, but there were not many chances either.
The first big chance of the match came in front of Zrinjski's goal in the 29th minute when Halilović headed a cross from Pršeš. However, the visiting goalkeeper was up to the task and cleared the danger in front of his goal.
Just a minute after Velež's chance, Zrinjski also threatened from a corner. After Ivančić's cross, Jakovljević headed the ball, but his shot went just over the goal. Until the end of the half, there were no major chances on either side.
The poor performance of Velež and Zrinjski continued in the second half. Zrinjski was somewhat better, but nothing worth mentioning until the 83rd minute. Mulahusejnović had a great opportunity to bring victory to Zrinjski when he received the ball and shot weakly from an angle straight at Hadžikić.
When it seemed the match would end without goals, Savić scored for Zrinjski. However, after a VAR check, the goal was not awarded. But in the 95th minute, Kiš scored a brilliant goal for a great triumph of Zrinjski at the "Rođeni" stadium.
Velež ended the match with a man down in the very final moments after a second yellow card for Šikalo.
Earlier today, Sarajevo defeated Sloga in Doboj with a high 4:0. Turkeš scored three goals, and Kyeremeh added one.
