
(Patria) - Panathinaikos Athens basketball player Kendrick Nunn has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the regular season in the current EuroLeague campaign.
Nunn was also previously selected to the All-EuroLeague First Team, and he set a record for the most points scored in the regular season - 696.
In 33 appearances, Nunn averaged 21.1 points per game and was the EuroLeague's top scorer.
He also averaged 4.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists and one steal per game.
Nunn led his Panathinaikos team to third place in the standings with a 22-12 record.
In the quarterfinals, Panathinaikos will face Anadolu Efes. The other quarterfinal pairings are Olympiacos - Real Madrid, Fenerbahce - Paris, and Monaco - Barcelona.
