Fine of 10,000 BAM for FK Željezničar due to incident in match against Sloga

(Patria) - The Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina has imposed a fine on FK Željezničar due to events in the match against Doboj's Sloga in the 5th round of the Wwin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina (1:1).

As announced from Grbavica, the club has been fined in the amount of 10,000 BAM. Additionally, FK Željezničar has received a conditional ban on playing with spectators on the east stand.

Specifically, if the same or similar violation occurs in matches within the next six months, the club will be punished with a ban on spectators on the east stand.

The club has received additional imposed measures from the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton, which concern the installation of a protective fence on the east stand.

- FK Željezničar sends a request and appeal to all fans and supporters to show in the upcoming matches that the events from the match against FK Sloga were an exception and an act of irresponsible individuals. Incidentally, the club was fined because at one point two fans of Željezničar entered the field from the east stand and headed towards the visiting players.

A larger incident was prevented by the players of Željezničar, who escorted the fans off the field, and the match continued after a several-minute interruption.

Željezničar's next home match is on Saturday against Zrinjski, starting at 20:45.
