(Patria) - A serious traffic accident occurred near the Stara Gradiška border crossing in Croatia, in which, according to initial reports, several people were seriously injured.
According to the Facebook page GP Maljevac, the accident happened when a truck hit a column of vehicles waiting to cross the border.
According to the aforementioned portal, several people were seriously injured in the accident. Emergency teams are on the scene. Traffic at the Stara Gradiška crossing is suspended in both directions.
The Croatian Auto Club HAK has asked drivers to use alternative crossings.
A police investigation is underway, after which more information should be available.
