Kamenjaš: It is an honour to be part of the team that will compete in the EuroLeague

(Patria) - The transfer of Kenan Kamenjaš from Budućnost Podgorica to Dubai BC was officially announced yesterday, and shortly after, the first message from the Bosnian national team player to the fans of his new club arrived.

Kamenjaš addressed them from the richest city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a short video.

"Greetings to all Dubai fans. It is an honour to be part of the team that will compete in the EuroLeague. We feel your support in the 'Coca-Cola Arena'. Join us to share this incredible journey. Let the games begin," Kamenjaš said.

Kamenjaš was the best rebounder and a member of the ideal five of the ABA League for the previous two seasons.

Last season, he was right behind his teammate McKinley Wright in the race for the "Dejan Milojević" award, which is given to the best player of the competition.

The point guard signed a contract two days earlier, so the two of them will play together in the new club as well.

In the ABA League, Kamenjaš averaged 11.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists, while in the EuroCup he had a performance of 10.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.

Kamenjaš signed a two-year contract with Dubai.
