What a miss: Hajduk striker came one-on-one with the goalkeeper and sent the ball - over the goal

(Patria) - Split's Hajduk qualified for the quarterfinals of the Croatian Cup yesterday with a 3-0 victory away against Mladost from Ždralovi.

Yassine Benrahou scored Hajduk's lead from a penalty in the 18th minute, and then assisted Rokas Pukštas, who scored into the home net in the 34th. Abdulie Sanyang Bamba confirmed the victory in the 90th minute.

Gennaro Gattuso made some substitutions and was angry with his team's players because they retreated towards the end of the match. And precisely at those moments, an interesting detail occurred.

Namely, in the 85th minute, after a quick counter-attack, Hajduk striker Stipe Biuk found himself face-to-face with the home team's goalkeeper Kristijan Srbljanović. However, to everyone's surprise - he sent the ball over the entire goal.

"Harder to miss than to score, one would say," said match commentator Anđelko Ketzman, after Biuk sent the ball over the goal.
