
(Patria) - Members of the cadet taekwondo national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will depart for the United Arab Emirates tomorrow, where they will compete in the World Cadet Championship from May 10 to 14.
After the final gathering and preparations of the cadet national team were held on May 3 and 4 in Sarajevo, the coaching staff of our selection determined the travelers for Fujairah.
A total of 11 competitors will defend the colors of our country at the continental championship.
Traveling to the United Arab Emirates, in addition to the coaching duo Mladen Ristić - Hong Seung Ki, will be: Amna Kobiljak (-37 kg, TKD Victory Vogošća), Džejna Pušćul (-44 kg, TKD NUR Kakanj), Amanda Hukić (-47 kg, TKD Fojnica), Hatidža Alijagić (-51 kg, TKD Novi Grad Sarajevo), Ema Mahmutović (-55 kg, TKD Victory Vogošća), Isra Zuban (-59 kg, TKD Nur Kakanj), Hamza Hercegovac (-33 kg, TKDK Bosna Rudar Visoko), Anas Tukar (-53 kg, TKD Bugojno), Deni Hodžić (-57 kg, TKD Fojnica), Amer Gladović (-65 kg, TKDK Bosna Rudar Visoko) and Zlatko Hrnjić (+65 kg, TKD Crni Labudovi Visoko).
The Taekwondo Federation of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina financed all preparatory cycles for the World Championship, as well as equipment, and medal winners will be rewarded according to previously adopted decisions of the Federation.
It is worth noting that the host of the 2023 World Cadet Taekwondo Championship was our country.
