Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup football draw held, all signs point to a final between Mostar rivals

(Patria) - The draw for the semi-finals of the BiH Cup was held today at the premises of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (N/FS BiH), shedding further light on the path to the trophy in the most popular competition.

The draw decided that the following teams will meet in the fight for the final:

Velež – Sloga Doboj
Laktaši/Radnik – Zrinjski

Zrinjski awaits opponent

The second semi-final pair is not yet complete, as the winner of the duel between Laktaši and Radnik is yet to be determined.

Laktaši have a significant 2-0 advantage from the first leg, but Radnik will try to make a comeback in front of their home crowd and secure a place among the top four teams.

The first legs of the BiH Cup semi-finals are scheduled for April 1st, while the return matches will be played two weeks later.

This season, the BiH Cup will have a new winner, given that the defending champions Sarajevo were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Velež.

This further opens up the possibility for other teams to win the prestigious trophy and make history in BiH football.
