Flights from Sarajevo to Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Berlin, Stuttgart soon...

(Patria) - Sarajevo Airport has announced data on new routes it is opening based on the incentive program of the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board.

Norwegian is launching flights to Copenhagen from April 1st, once a week (Tuesdays), to increase the route to two weekly flights from June 23rd (Monday and Friday) until August 15th, and from August 19th it will operate once a week again (Tuesdays) until the end of the winter timetable.


The company will fly on three routes this summer, to Stockholm, Oslo (both two flights per week) and Copenhagen. All routes will be seasonal, reported by the aviation portal Zamaaero.

SAS is increasing the route to Copenhagen to two flights per week in the peak season, while Copenhagen will have two to four flights per week this summer.

Eurowings is introducing a route to Berlin from 2025, twice a week (the start date of the route has not yet been announced), and from 2026 it will launch flights to Hamburg (two weekly flights), Dusseldorf (two weekly flights), and Hanover (two weekly flights).

As the company already flies to Cologne and Stuttgart, the company will have three routes to Sarajevo from 2025, and as many as six routes from 2026. All routes will be year-round.

Wizz Air is launching flights from Sarajevo to Memmingen in 2025 (date not yet announced), which will operate twice a week. Wizz Air will have as many as 14 weekly flights from Sarajevo next summer because, in addition to Memmingen, it will also have flights to London (4 per week), Abu Dhabi (5 per week), and Rome (3 per week). All routes are year-round except for Abu Dhabi and Memmingen, which will be seasonal.

Swiss is launching flights to Geneva in 2026, which will operate twice a week. Swiss already flies to Zurich from Sarajevo, a route it operated daily last summer.

Finally, Ryanair will introduce four new routes which it will announce at its press conference, while the company will have a total of 10 routes from Sarajevo. So far, the new Sarajevo-Stockholm route has been announced, which will operate from April 1st, 2025, twice a week (Tuesday and Saturday).

This means that Sarajevo will have 7 new routes in 2025, with 14 new weekly flights, and in 2026, another 4 new routes with 8 weekly flights.
