Ismail Zulfić as the youngest para-swimmer won 6th place in the A final of the World Series meet

(Patria) - Ismail Zulfić, para-swimming representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, won sixth place tonight in the A final of the World Series para-swimming meet held in Lignano, Italy.

As the youngest competitor in the final, he took a fantastic 6th place in the 50-meter butterfly discipline in the absolute category, where he broke his personal and national record with a time of 41:35.

With this result, he confirmed the norm for the European Championship and thus came one step closer to the norm for the Paralympic Games in Paris.

In the morning qualifications, "butterfly without wings" qualified for the senior A final with a time of 41:50 as the sixth-placed.

345 competitors from 55 countries worldwide are participating in the World Series para-swimming competition in Lignano.

Yesterday, another para-swimming representative, Ismail Barlov, won 4th place in the 50m breaststroke discipline.

The two Ismails have been coached for years by coach and founder of PK Spid, Amel Kapo.
