
(Patria) - Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina continued their good rhythm today at the European Youth Para Games (EYPG) being held in Istanbul.
After the second day of competition in Turkey, the BiH team is richer by one more medal. Ismail Zulfić competed today in the 50-meter backstroke event and won a silver medal. This is the third medal overall for Bosnia and Herzegovina in Turkey.
Ismail Barlov, the current Paralympic vice-champion from Paris, yesterday crowned his debut at EYPG2025 with a gold medal in the 150-meter medley event, while Ismail Zulfić ended his performance with silver, but in the 50-meter butterfly.
The team in Istanbul competes under the expert supervision of the selector of the BiH para-swimming team, Amel Kapo.
This is the first participation of the BiH team in history at the European Youth Para Games.
