
(Patria) - Bosnian para-swimmer Ismail Barlov has become the world vice-champion in the 50m breaststroke race.
Barlov, a competitor from the SPID Swimming Club from Sarajevo, took second place in today's final with a time of 58.55, thus bringing a silver medal to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The world champion was Mexico's Jose Castorena with a time of 57.41.
Barlov has continued his excellent performances recently, considering that he also won silver at last year's Paralympic Games in Paris.
Ismail Zulfić is also representing Bosnia and Herzegovina at the World Championships in Singapore.
