(Patria) - BiH para-swimmer Ismail Barlov tonight set his personal and national record at the European Senior Championships held in Portugal.
At the gathering of the best para-swimmers of the Old Continent, the thirteen-year-old BiH representative competed tonight in the final of the 150 meters medley discipline and took sixth place with a time of 3:34:73.
Let us remind you, Barlov achieved a historic result on Sunday, the first day of the competition at the European Championships in Madeira, by winning a gold medal in the 50 meters breaststroke discipline.
He won the title of European champion in the final with a time of 1:01:15, thus brilliantly announcing his participation in the Paris Paralympic Games this summer, for which he has already secured two A standards.
The European Championships in Madeira are held from April 21 to 27. BiH is also represented by Ismail Zulfić, who will compete in the 50 meters butterfly discipline, while Barlov will also compete in the 50 meters backstroke discipline.
