Icelanders inflict heavy defeat on the Dragons in Skenderija

(Patria) - The BiH handball team was defeated tonight in Sarajevo's Skenderija by the Icelandic team in a match of the 5th round of the European Championship qualifiers.

Although they arrived in Sarajevo without several important players, the Icelanders secured a confident victory against BiH with a score of 25:34.

Practically at no point during the match was it in doubt who would win. Iceland imposed its rhythm of play from the first minute.

At halftime, the scoreboard in Skenderija read 13:18.

In the second half, the Icelanders continued in the same rhythm and ultimately won routinely. The final score was 25:34.

Despite this defeat, nothing is over yet, as the Dragons still have a theoretical chance to qualify for the European Championship.
