Irfan Peljto will not officiate at the World Cup after all

(Patria) - The World Football Federation (FIFA) has published the final list of referees for the World Cup, which will be held this year in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

The list includes 53 main referees and 89 assistant referees, but among them there is again no representative from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The best Bosnian referee, Irfan Peljto (41), was not included among those selected, despite the fact that during this season he regularly officiated high-level matches in European competitions.

Among other things, he refereed Champions League matches between Real Madrid and Marseille, as well as Copenhagen and Napoli, and several other significant matches under the auspices of UEFA.
