(Patria) - The Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs (KUIP) of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) fined the "Armani" Shopping Mall in Žepče, which operated on Sunday contrary to the law.
- Regarding the "Armani" Shopping Mall in Žepče specifically, we inform you that we have not received any reports, but as part of regular field activities, we visited the mentioned mall on December 22nd, among others.
The inspecting officers determined that it was conducting trade contrary to legal provisions, and due to the established violation, the company, as well as the responsible person of the company, were sanctioned in accordance with the law - stated KUIP ZDK for Nezavisne novine.
They emphasize that since the new Law on Internal Trade came into effect on November 14th, the Market, Tourism, and Catering Inspectorate has been continuously planning and conducting inspection supervision, particularly regarding compliance with the provisions of Article 18, which stipulates that retail establishments are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
KUIP ZDK reminds that the fines for violating these legal provisions range from KM 2,000 to KM 15,000 for the company, from KM 500 to KM 1,500 for the responsible person in the company, and from KM 500 to KM 1,500 for a trader as a natural person.
