(Patria) - Esmir Bajraktarević became the Dutch champion with the PSV Eindhoven team.
After scoring the final penalty that qualified BiH for the World Cup, in the same week he also won his first club trophy.
PSV spectacularly came close to the title in the Dutch Eredivisie after defeating Utrecht 4:3 on Saturday evening.
The Eindhoven team was waiting for Feyenoord to slip up to mathematically secure the title.
Feyenoord played a goalless draw (0:0) away against Volendam, who are fighting for survival, thus missing their last chance to extend the race for first place.
Thus, with five rounds left in the championship, PSV officially secured a new title, as Feyenoord is now an unattainable 17 points behind.
This is the 27th Dutch championship title for PSV.
Bajraktarević played 37 matches for the club in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
