(Patria) - The UEFA Disciplinary Committee has made a decision on the fine for the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) due to incidents at the match between Croatia and Italy at the European Championship in Germany.
HNS has been fined 105,000 euros for throwing objects (45,000 euros), setting off flares (30,000 euros), and inappropriate behavior (30,000 euros) by a section of Croatian fans during the match between Croatia and Italy, which was played on June 24 in Leipzig.
This is the largest fine HNS has received at this championship so far. Croatia had previously received two fines.
UEFA had fined HNS a total of 28,000 euros for setting off flares (17,500 euros) and throwing objects (10,500 euros) by a section of Croatian fans during the match between Croatia and Albania, and a fine of a total of 87,875 euros was issued due to incidents at the match against Spain.
In total, HNS will have to pay 220,875 euros in fines due to the behavior of its fans at the Euros.
