
(Patria) - The Disciplinary Committee of the World Football Federation (FIFA) has decided on penalties for the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) due to the behavior of some fans during matches against the Czech Republic in Prague and Gibraltar in Varaždin as part of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The HNS has been fined 41,000 Swiss francs (approximately 45,000 euros) for inappropriate behavior by some fans (throwing objects, lighting pyrotechnic devices) at the match Czech Republic - Croatia, played on October 9 in Prague.
Additionally, the HNS has been fined 7,500 Swiss francs (approximately 8,000 euros) for inappropriate behavior by some fans (running onto the field) after the match Croatia - Gibraltar, played on October 12, 2025 in Varaždin.
