Guliashvili leaves Sarajevo, moves to Spanish Racing Santander

(Patria) - The saga is over – Giorgi Guliashvili is no longer an FK Sarajevo player. The Georgian international and current captain of the "Bordo" team has achieved a career transfer and signed for Spanish Racing Santander.

The club from Koševo confirmed that the deal has been successfully completed. Although the exact figure has not been publicly disclosed, Sarajevo emphasized that the transfer includes a fixed compensation amount, as well as additional bonuses and a percentage of any future sale, ensuring long-term benefit for the club.

Impressive Statistics

Guliashvili leaves Koševo as one of the most important players. In the first half of this season, he made 20 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing eight assists.

Looking at his entire tenure in the "Bordo" jersey, he played 69 matches, scored 23 goals, and added 15 assists. He arrived at Koševo at the beginning of 2023 from Saburtalo Tbilisi, and also spent a period on loan at Velež, where he also delivered excellent performances.

International Status and Farewell

His performances in the Premier League of BiH earned him the status of a regular "A" international for Georgia, for whom he has played six times so far. New challenges await him in the fight for promotion to the Spanish La Liga with Racing.
