Georgia took the lead, then Spain filled their net to the brim

(Patria) - The Spanish national team has predictably advanced to the quarter-finals of the European Football Championship being held in Germany.

The Spaniards celebrated a high 4:1 victory against Georgia in the round of 16 tonight at the Rhein Energie Stadium in Cologne after a comeback.

However, Georgia took the lead first, with an own goal by Robin Le Normand in the 18th minute.

By the end of the first half, the Spaniards managed to equalize, with Rodri scoring in the 39th minute.

Already at the beginning of the second half, specifically in the 51st minute, tonight's favorites completely turned the score around, with Fabian Ruiz bringing joy to their fans.

In the 75th minute, it was 3:1 after a quick counter-attack by Nico Williams, and Dani Olmo sealed Spain's place in the quarter-finals with a goal in the 83rd minute.

A real spectacle awaits us in the quarter-finals - the Spaniards will face the hosts, the German national team, in Stuttgart on July 5th.
