(Patria) - Jurica Golemac is no longer the coach of Dubai basketball players, the Club announced.
The reason is the poor performance of this team in the Euroleague, which is why a shock therapy for the players had to be administered.
Dubai thanked Golemac for the cooperation so far.
In tomorrow's ABA League game in Zetra against Budućnost Podgorica, his current assistant Jan Šentjurc will lead the team from the bench.
Golemac was fired after the loss to Anadolu Efes in the Euroleague with a score of 85:69.
According to media reports, there is speculation about the names of potential successors, and among the names mentioned are Saša Đorđević and Vassilis Spanoulis.
