GFC Sarajevo accuses FC Salines Neimari of physical assaults and insults: Video evidence exists

(Patria) - GFC Sarajevo issued a statement a day after the match against FC Salines Neimari, in which it leveled a series of serious accusations regarding the events during the game, which was also marked by a multi-minute interruption.

We remind you that Sarajevo celebrated a victory with a score of 8:7 in a match that was briefly interrupted after the home team scored to make it 6:5. After the stands were cleared, the match continued and the guests ultimately achieved victory.

We are transmitting the statement in its entirety:

- Regarding the events of last night's match played in the Arena, we feel obliged to officially address the public and the relevant institutions.

During the match, our players were subjected to inappropriate and unacceptable behavior, including intentional physical assaults, spitting, as well as severe insults from the stands and the field.

We particularly highlight the incident in which our player Handžić was spat on, in addition to being repeatedly cursed at with insults about his deceased mother and children by captain Dedić, for which video evidence exists. Furthermore, intentional hitting by the same player was also recorded.

Additionally, after scoring the sixth goal, the same player demonstratively provoked our players with his celebration style, and then confronted club director Muftić face-to-face, which was also recorded on video. On that occasion, he also physically assaulted our coach Melher.

Furthermore, multiple instances of player Zatagić being hit on the scorer's table in front of the match delegate were recorded, without any disciplinary action being taken, even though the officials had a clear view of the situation.
