(Patria) - The President of the Football Association of BiH, Vico Zeljković, and representatives of FIFA today signed an agreement in Sarajevo within the FIFA Arena project, which foresees the construction of three mini football pitches in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The agreement was signed on behalf of FIFA by the Director for European Football Associations, Elkhan Mammadov, while Zeljković and Secretary General Adnan Džemidžić signed on behalf of the FA of BiH.
According to the standard model of the project, European football associations are allocated two pitches each, but after discussions and coordination between the representatives of the FA of BiH and FIFA, the construction of three mini pitches in Bosnia and Herzegovina was approved.
The pitches are planned to be completed in September this year, and on the occasion of the opening, FIFA President Gianni Infantino will visit the FA of BiH.
This project continues the strategy of the FA of BiH related to improving conditions for playing football.
