Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team members traveled to Newcastle, match against the English tomorrow

(Patria) - The national football team members of Bosnia and Herzegovina traveled from Sarajevo International Airport to Newcastle, where they will play a friendly match against England, the current European vice-champions.

Against one of the biggest favorites for the title at the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024, the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will play weakened due to the absence of several injured players.

Coach Sergej Barbarez, in his debut on the bench, decided on relatively new players compared to the previous period, who worked very well during the preparations in Sarajevo and in a positive atmosphere, which was not the case in past months and even years for the BiH national team.

On their way to the island, the popular "Dragons" departed with the aim of competing as well as possible against the favored opponent, as Barbarez has emphasized in recent days, "in a new era with a new idea, way, and approach to the game".

The national team members of Bosnia and Herzegovina will have their last training session before the match today at 7 PM Central European Time at the "St. James Park" stadium in Newcastle.

The match England – Bosnia and Herzegovina will be played tomorrow, June 3rd, in front of 52,350 fans at the sold-out "St. James Park", starting at 8:45 PM Central European Time.

Six days later, Bosnia and Herzegovina will visit Italy, the current European champions, in Empoli. Barbarez's chosen ones will be sparring partners for the "Azzurri" in their final rehearsal for the European Championship, which will be held from June 14th to July 14th this year in Germany.
