(Patria) - Cypriot midfielder and Sarajevo footballer Rafail Mamas has undergone surgery in Belgium.
He injured his knee during training in Turkey.
It was immediately clear that a long break and likely surgery awaited him, and the staff decided he had to go "under the knife".
"This year has tried to test me. It only made me stronger. New era, same fire.
See you on the field soon," Mamas stated.
Mamas arrived in Sarajevo in the summer of 2025 from Cypriot club AEL. The footballer also has two caps for the Cyprus national team.
