(Patria) - Zoran Zekić took over FK Sarajevo this summer and started a team reconstruction process.
The new coach of the Maroon team has a lot of work ahead of him, and it seems he has decided to start immediately with a big reinforcement.
According to unofficial information published by the portal Sportske.ba, it is about Kristijan Lovrić, with whom Zekić previously worked at Osijek, and he would now like to see him at Košev.
Last season, Lovrić played 30 matches for Osijek, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists.
Also, for a period, he was mentioned as a potential player for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, however, he opted for Croatia, where he played one match under Zlatko Dalić (on March 31, 2021, against Malta).
In his career so far, he played for Bela Krajina, Ogulin, Kustošija, Lokomotiva, Lučko, Gorica, from where he moved to Osijek for 2.2 million euros.
According to Croatian media, Osijek's sports director Jose Boto decided to cross Kristijan Lovrić off the list of players he counts on for the upcoming season, which could be a signal that he is coming to Košev.
