Footballer Amir Džihan passed away during a Second League of FBiH match

(Patria) - Footballer of the Football Club (NK) Bajer from Velagići, Amir Džihan, passed away yesterday during a Second League of FBiH - West match against Football Club (FK) Vitez.

"Dear fans, with great sadness we inform you that today, during our club's match against FK Vitez, our player Amir Džihan suffered a severe accident which, unfortunately, he did not survive", stated NK Bajer Velagići in a Facebook post yesterday.

The club clarified that Amir is the son of coach Enes Džihan and that everyone is in shock due to his death.

"We ask dear Allah to grant Amir paradise and patience to the family. More information soon. We ask for your understanding and that we all support our coach and his family together", said NK Bajer Velagići.
