Chaos even before the match starts: Galatasaray and Fenerbahce players in hooligan rhythm

(Patria) - Before the big Turkish derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, a fight broke out on the pitch between players of the two teams.

Mert Hakan Yandas sparked tensions when he showed the Fenerbahce crest to the Galatasaray fans, and as the stands reacted to what happened, Galatasaray player Kerem Akturkoglu approached Yandas and the two of them started fighting, reports Meridian Sport.

Other teammates came to calm the situation, but after a conversation with the Fenerbahce player, tensions flared up again, leading to a major scuffle on the pitch as almost all players and coaches from both teams got involved.

Security personnel also intervened, forming a barrier between the players, who soon headed towards the locker rooms.
