FK Sarajevo: Referee theft is a response to our fight for changes in BiH football, we will not give up

(Patria) - After being wronged in today's match against Posušje, FK Sarajevo issued a public statement.

"FK Sarajevo has bravely and transparently initiated a process of change in BiH football. This path began in the Canton of Sarajevo, where the Club has made efforts to primarily present the public with the issues of the current work of the FSKS and the role of FSKS representatives in higher bodies of the football organization.

Since the beginning of the 2024/25 competitive season, precisely because of the activities that FK Sarajevo is undertaking concerning changes within the cantonal football association, we have been exposed to classic violence from officials in the Premier League of BiH.

Almost every round, referee decisions are made to the detriment of FK Sarajevo, aiming to distance FK Sarajevo from the mission of improving BiH football. We know very well from which circles the club is being strategically destabilized in terms of disrupting sports results!

FK Sarajevo will use all available legal means to protect the integrity and reputation of the Club. We also believe that the competent institutions will not blindly observe the events in BiH football, which bear all the hallmarks of crime.

We are telling everyone who thinks that such actions will intimidate and stop us that they are mistaken. This is not our maximum, neither on the field nor off it! In the coming period, we will strengthen ourselves even more, work even harder and better because there is no alternative to the path of change. Our motivation for change and progress has never been greater.

FK Sarajevo will only show its strength and power.

Honorably and proudly, we go into the winter break with one game less and 38 points. We are aware that the players and coaching staff have done their best this half-season, despite all the obstacles they have faced. And finally, we want to say to our fans and sympathizers: Bordo-white nation, all as one, for the CLUB, for our city and country," stated the Bordo club.
