FK Sarajevo wins 33rd Memorial Tournament 'Asim Ferhatović Hase'

(Patria) - In a great atmosphere of the Small Hall in Skenderija, the Maroon team defeated NK Iskra Bugojno 5:2 in the final, with scorers for Sarajevo in this match being: Samir Nuhanović (2x), Anel Hebibović, Mersudin Ahmetović and Veldin Muharemović. Scorers for NK Iskra Bugojno were Fuka and Smajić.

The first major chance was seen in the 7th minute when Dupovac tried to find Janjoš, but he couldn't reach the ball.

Just a few minutes later, Hamzić saved Sarajevo from Smajić's shot with a brilliant save.

Another chance was seen in the 13th minute of the match when Fuka shot after several brilliant moves, but the ball went over Hamzić's goal.

It was a rather tough match, much tougher compared to last year's final.

In the 17th minute, Sarajevo had a free kick from about 8 meters, taken by Džemal Berberović. It was a great shot, but the ball hit the post of Iskra's goal.

Then the rebound ball came to Berberović again, but Iskra's goalkeeper saved his second shot.

A minute later, a chance from the other side, Gekić passed to Smajić, who shot, but only wide of Dino Hamzić's goal.

However, when everyone thought the break would be reached with an unchanged score, Nuhanović stole the ball and with a brilliant left-footed shot brought Sarajevo the lead and got the numerous audience on their feet.

Right at the start, a great chance for Sarajevo, Said Husejinović shot, the ball went just past the left post.

Four minutes later, Sarajevo scored another goal. Anel Hebibović masterfully found himself in the penalty area and headed the ball in for 2:0, assisted by goalkeeper Hodžić.

In the 27th minute, Sarajevo scored a new, third goal, and the scorer was Mersudin Ahmetović. After shots by Berberović and Husejinović, the ball rebounded to the former striking force of Sarajevo, who once again brought joy to the fans, increasing the lead to 3:0.

And in the 32nd minute, almost a repeat of the second goal. Again, a brilliant assist from goalkeeper Ibri Hodžić, and Veldin Muharemović headed the ball against the crossbar, after which the ball bounced off the goalkeeper and into Iskra's goal for the fourth time.

Iskra started playing without a goalkeeper from that moment on, taking risks to try and catch up. In the 34th minute, Samir Nuhanović punished this and increased the lead to five goals.

Iskra tried to score a consolation goal in the final match, and in the 37th minute, a free kick was awarded very close to Ibri Hodžić's goal. However, NK Iskra Bugojno players did not capitalize on this opportunity either.

Nevertheless, in the last minute of the match, Iskra scored two quick goals, with scorers being Fuka and Smajić.
