FK Sarajevo: We Remain Open for Discussion on League Issues with All Clubs at Any Time

(Patria) - No club from the Wwin league responded to the invitation of the president of FK Sarajevo to hold a meeting, but they did send a different response.

"We would like to thank all clubs of the WWin league who responded to the initiative for positive changes in fair play, preventing corruption and fighting monopolism in Bosnian football. The request of the majority of the mentioned Clubs was that the first in a series of meetings where we can openly discuss challenges, joint strategy and concrete steps for a better future of Bosnian football be held after the end of the current 2023/24 season, and we can understand that.

Our message and path are clear – fair play is the minimum that must exist in every sport, otherwise the game loses its meaning. We are aware that this is a long-term process and our strategy will be to ensure fair refereeing for FK Sarajevo within all legally permitted frameworks and to point out any irregularities to all relevant institutions.

We remain open to all Clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina to open a discussion on this topic and all others that are for the benefit of Bosnian football at any time. Now, tomorrow or after the end of the season. Because otherwise, we do not leave a better tomorrow for future generations," was stated by FK Sarajevo.
