Phenomenal Guliashvili led Sarajevo to victory in Doboj

Sarajevo defeated Sloga Meridian in Doboj in the 2nd round of the Wwin league. Despite difficult weather conditions, but on a great, renovated field, the score was 3:1 in favor of the Maroon team, with a great performance by Giorgi Guliashvili.

Sarajevo controlled the game from the first minute. The field was perfect, but the temperature in Doboj was enormous and the conditions were quite inhumane.

After several dangerous attacks at the start of the match that did not yield results, Sarajevo took the lead after a set piece in the 17th minute of play. Đorđević crossed, Čelik jumped well, and in the scramble, Vinko Soldo found himself best positioned and it was 1:0 for the Maroon team.

Six minutes later, another chance for Sarajevo after a set piece. Bubanja had a chance this time, but did not score from a very good position.

Sloga looked helpless in front of the Maroon team, and in the 31st minute, Zoran Zekić's team scored their second goal. Kyeremeh found Giorgi Guliashvili phenomenally, the Georgian bypassed Pavlović and hit an empty net for 2:0.

Just two minutes later, another goal in Sloga's net. After another quick transition, Beganović played a return pass to Guliashvili, and he beautifully scored for 3:0.

Sloga scored a goal in the 41st minute. They can thank goalkeeper Rockov for that, who after a corner swam into empty space, and Srđan Grabež scored for 3:1.

Sloga had another chance before the end of the first half. Vidić shot inaccurately, and the teams went into halftime with a deserved 3:1 lead for Sarajevo.

Sarajevo was the better team in the second half as well. Đorđević threatened first, shooting poorly in the 51st minute.

Seven minutes later, another excellent counter-attack by Zoran Zekić's team. Guliashvili set up Đorđević, Pavlović saved it.

Čataković then threatened in the 62nd minute, Pavlović saved, and the Sloga goalkeeper saved his team again four minutes later after an attempt by the same player.

Čataković also tried from midfield, but was not accurate, Guliashvili threatened again, and then Vidić on the other side was also inaccurate.

Sloga could have scored a second goal in the 84th minute. Miličević fired the ball, Rockov saved the Maroon team this time, as well as four minutes later when the phenomenal 'keeper' saved Milosavljević's shot.

In the end, the score remained 3:1 for Sarajevo, who are at the top of the table with six points. This was Sloga's first match of the season.

It should be noted that Kuprešak, who came on in the second half instead of Kyeremeh, received a red card in stoppage time.
