(Patria) - Football coach from Sarajevo, Feđa Dudić (42), is the new head of the professional staff at NK Maribor.
Dudić has won the BiH Cup with Velež in his career so far, and then twice in a row in Serbia led Radnički from Kragujevac to European competitions.
In our country, besides Velež, he also managed Sarajevo and GOŠK from Gabela.
He signed a contract with Maribor until the end of the 2026/27 season, and he will conduct his first training session with the team this afternoon.
His debut on the bench will be on Saturday, at home against Domžale.
- This is a big step forward in my career, I will try to seize the opportunity offered to me by the Maribor Board of Directors.
Since we established contact, my desire has not been in question. We only discussed some minor details. I received five or six offers between Kragujevac and Maribor, which I did not accept.
I wanted to extend my break when the offer from Maribor arrived, but I said, "that's it." I come motivated and can't wait for the first match, the first training session, to meet the players.
I did the first analyses at home, checked before arriving how and in what way the team functions. Of course, I am not coming to work without information, as if it fell from the sky.
It is undoubtedly uncomfortable that in nine or ten rounds there has been a change and the appointment of a fourth coach. We hope to cooperate for a longer time - said Dudić.
