(Patria) - After Maribor's painful league defeat against Radomlje (1:2), Feđa Dudić once again took responsibility and offered his resignation again, which was accepted this time.
Four defeats in the last five matches clearly show that Maribor is in a major crisis.
At the worst possible moment, when European spots are being decided, Maribor risks missing out on Europe for the first time since 2008, which would be a huge disaster for the Slovenian club.
Dudić had already offered his resignation after the match against Bravo, but the club's management at the time rejected it, gave him their support, and told him they believed in him.
However, the match against Radomlje followed, in which Maribor looked even weaker than in previous matches for most of the game.
Dudić was devastated immediately after the match, took responsibility again, and stated that if he was the problem, he was offering his resignation again.
The day after the match with Radomlje, he officially did so – he put his mandate at their disposal and told the Turkish owners that he would leave if another solution was found by the end of the season.
This time, the club owners accepted his resignation.
Dudić is thus already the former coach of Maribor, and it is also known who will succeed him, at least temporarily.
In the eternal derby against Olimpija Ljubljana, the team will be led by goalkeeping coaches Mitja Pirih and Jasmin Handanović.
