EPIC COMEBACK Alcaraz defeated Sinner in the Roland Garros final

(Patria) - Carlos Alcaraz is the new-old king of Paris. In a spectacular Roland Garros final, the Spanish tennis player defeated Jannik Sinner 3:2 in sets (4:6, 6:7, 6:4, 7:6, 7:6) after almost five hours of play, thus defending his champion title.

Although the Italian led 2:0 in sets and was just a few points away from victory, Alcaraz showed why many consider him Rafael Nadal's successor. In the fourth set, he saved three match points, and then took the match to a decisive fifth set.

There, he led 5:2, Sinner came back to 5:5, but in the extended tie-break, Alcaraz was calmer and more precise. He finally won 10:2 in the tie-break, marking his third Grand Slam title of his career, and his second consecutive one in Paris.
