Emina Holjan wins gold medal at taekwondo competition in Sweden

(Patria) - Members of Taekwondo Club Iskra from Hadžići competed at one of the largest international taekwondo competitions in Lund, Sweden – Lomma Cup 2026, which gathered over 800 competitors of various age categories from nine countries. A total of 69 clubs participated in the tournament, further confirming the quality and significance of this sporting event.

Taekwondo Club Iskra was represented by three female competitors who achieved an outstanding result and once again demonstrated the quality of the club's work.

Emina Holjan excelled in the category up to 24 kilograms (7–11 years old), where she won a gold medal with dominant performances and stood on the top step of the podium.

Uma Musović, in the category up to 27 kilograms, had excellent fights and deservedly won a silver medal.

Ilda Mehmedović won a bronze medal after a very good performance. She waited for the winner of the match between representatives of Sweden and Denmark in her first fight, and then defeated her opponent from Sweden in the second round. She was stopped in the semi-finals by the eventual champion of the category, but despite this, she achieved great success by winning the bronze medal.

The achieved results confirm the quality of work, discipline, and form ahead of the competition at the Balkan Championship, which will be held next month in Serbia. In the competition of a large number of clubs and competitors from different countries, the members of Taekwondo Club Iskra worthily represented their club and achieved a result worthy of attention and pride.
