Elvedina Muzaferija faces a big Super-G challenge tomorrow

(Patria) - German skier Emma Aicher caused another big surprise in the second downhill race of the FIS World Cup, held today in Kvitfjell, Norway. The young
Aicher yesterday secured her first podium and second place in the World Cup, only to be
the fastest today among the 46 competitors who finished the race. With a time of 1:31.69, she was just three
hundredths of a second faster than American Lauren Macuga. A quality run, good enough for third
place, was also delivered by yesterday's winner Cornelia Huetter.

Elvedina Muzaferija, the best alpine skier from Bosnia and Herzegovina, was stopped today in her first
start with bib number 33 by a yellow flag due to Isabelle Wright's fall in the final section of the course. After this unfortunate situation, Muzaferija started again
after bib number 48 and finished the race in 43rd place, 2.95 seconds behind
the winner Aicher.

Tomorrow at 10:30 AM, the Bosnian skier faces another big challenge – a competition in the Super-G
discipline, in which she currently holds 33rd place with 16 points. The top 25 competitors in the FIS
World Cup secure a ticket to the finals, which will be held from March 22 to 27 in the
United States of America.
