Elvedina Muzaferija travelled to France, skiing conditions ideal

(Patria) - After intensive conditioning preparations in Makarska and Sarajevo, the best Bosnian alpine skier, Elvedina Muzaferija, travelled to France where she has ideal conditions for skiing.

Thus, the Bosnian team, which arrived at the Les Deux Alpes ski centre last week, will take the opportunity for maximum work and additional testing of new Atomic equipment, as well as mandatory work on techniques and form in general.

“I am here with my new team where we will spend a total of fifteen days. We have very good conditions for skiing, and currently our focus is on some basic things - technique and returning to skis after a long break from skiing and after very tough conditioning training,” said Muzaferija, whose conditioning is overseen by coach Edhem Bajrić, and her skiing performance by the Italian duo Nicola Quaquarelli and Davide Vezzoni.

Carried by the energy of the previous competitive season, in which she took Bosnia and Herzegovina to the World Cup final for the first time in history, the member of the Ski Club “ZE-2010” is making great efforts to raise her goals to a higher level at upcoming competitions.

“This is also the last part of preparations we will do before the summer break and before going to Chile. We have very good conditions, the snow is excellent like during winter, so we can use the time here very well. We are testing skis a lot too. As the preparations started, if they end like this, I think everything will be great and I look forward to the new season,” Muzaferija said sincerely.
