
(Patria) - Skiers from Austria Nadine Fest, Carmen Spielberger and Victoria Olivier took the first three places in the Super-G race of the FIS Europa Cup, held on the "Streifalm" track in Kitzbühel.
For the first time in the current season, Elvedina Muzaferija, the best Bosnian-Herzegovinian alpine skier, also competed in this competition.
With starting number 31, she crossed the finish line with a time of 1:22.31 hundredths, which placed her in 14th place.
After all 59 competitors finished, Muzaferija took 16th place in today's race, with a deficit of 1.94 seconds behind the winner Nadine Fest, who is also the leading skier in the FIS Europa Cup standings.
With today's placement, Muzaferija earned 15 FIS points and currently holds the 50th position in the FIS Europa Cup standings.
In the popular Austrian Ski Center, which is almost completely without snow these days, the track preserved for women's Super-G races will also be used tomorrow at the same time.
