(Patria) - The company "Elektroprivreda BiH" recorded a net loss of 57.56 million KM last year, according to the annual report.
The company's total revenues in 2024 amounted to 1.28 billion KM, an increase of about 9.9 percent compared to the previous year, while total expenses decreased by 10.3 percent, amounting to about 1.34 billion KM.
The loss was incurred because the mines supplied less coal throughout the year, the year was hydrologically unfavorable, and due to the lack of production and increased distribution consumption by end customers, planned sales through balance surpluses were not realized, and energy procurement was higher.
The report states that last year there were delays in the application of new tariff rates for customers on public supply service, and instead of June 1, as planned, the application began on August 1.
In 2023, the loss of "Elektroprivreda BiH" amounted to 331.79 million KM.
