Elektroprivreda BiH this year with a loss of more than 20 million KM

(Patria) - Elektroprivreda BiH will record a loss of 21.2 million KM this year.

This is an estimate stated in the draft Business Plan of Elektroprivreda BiH for the period 2025-2027, which the portal BiznisInfo.ba had insight into.

Minor deviations from this amount are possible, given that there is still some time until the end of the year.

It should be noted that this is a significantly smaller loss than the 327 million from last year.

Moreover, this year's loss does not even sound dramatic, given the alarming news about the decline in electricity exports and problems with mines that we have heard throughout the year.

Next year, a pre-tax profit of 1.6 million KM is planned, followed by 4.7 million the year after, while in 2027, pre-tax profit should amount to two million marks.

The plan estimates that the company's operating revenue this year will be 1.213 billion KM.

For next year, operating revenue of 1.475 billion is planned, then 1.372 billion, and finally 1.348 billion KM in 2027.

Electricity production this year will, according to estimates, be 5,478 GWh. The plan for the next three years is 6,261 GWh, then 5,777 GWh, and 5,735 GWh.

Incidentally, over the next three years, EP BiH plans investments of as much as 2.1 billion KM.
