(Patria) - The best BiH tennis player Damir Džumhur won the ATP Challenger tournament in Barletta, Italy today.
Džumhur defeated the first seed, Frenchman Harold Mayot, the 129th player on the ATP list, in the final with a score of 6:1, 6:3.
The match lasted only one hour and 13 minutes.
This is the first tournament won by the player from Sarajevo in seven months.
The victory in Italy brought him 75 points and an advancement of 33 positions on the ATP list. Džumhur is currently the 126th tennis player in the world.
