Džeko: We didn't achieve our goal, the next two matches will decide everything

(Patria) - The captain of the national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Džeko, was visibly disappointed after the Dragons' draw in Cyprus and the missed opportunity for a win.

When asked by BHT journalists how Cyprus deservedly reached a draw, the Diamond replied the following.

"We deserved three points, we were leading until the 95th minute. They had more possession than us, but without chances. Whether they deserved to win a point, I wouldn't know how to say, if you say so, then it is, but we did not achieve our goal," said Džeko and added:

"We still have two matches that will decide how we finish, and that's it".

Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently second in the table with 13 points, and Cyprus is fourth in the table with five points from six matches played.

The Cypriots will visit San Marino next Sunday, while Bosnia and Herzegovina will play a friendly match with Malta on the same day, and in the next qualifying match, a duel with Romania awaits us.
