Džeko most influential in Turkish league

(Patria) - Fenerbahce player Edin Džeko has been named the most influential player in the Turkish league.

The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) has published data on players whose performances had the greatest impact this season in 54 leagues worldwide, reports Faktor.

CIES used its own special formula for calculations, taking into account players' performances in six areas of the game, minutes played in the domestic league, and their clubs' results.

The six criteria included: ground duels, ball distribution with an emphasis on the final third, dribbling success and volume, chances created, finishing, and aerial duels.

When all these parameters are added up, a score from 0 to 100 is obtained, indicating the player's overall impact on the game.

Džeko received an overall score of 76.3, making him the best in the Turkish Super League.

Among the top 20 rated players are two more Bosnian internationals - Edin Višća is 15th with a score of 65.2, and Haris Hajradinović is 19th (60.4).
